LIO functions as an incubator and think tank inside the powerful international ecosystem of Global Brands Group.
Each LIO member is responsible for developing a market-changing innovation of their choice over the course of the program. This “solo project” is pitched to the GBG executive team at the end of the program for the chance to receive additional investment. These individual initiatives can range from start-ups to envelope-pushing creative programs to revolutionary internal systems, depending on the skillsets and interests of each LIO member.
While developing their solo projects, LIO members work in teams and as a group to deliver immediate value to the business through executive reports, branding exercises, and research projects. The subjects of these team projects range widely, from company culture to new retail experiences to back-end technology.
